'Power Star' Dr Srinivasan has expressed inability to part with the title 'Desiya Nedunchalai', to a film starring Siddharth in the lead. "Because the shooting is complete and the film is going to release soon," he says.
The 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi' actor's next film in Tamil is to be directed by Manigandan, a former associate of Vetrimaaran. It is to be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri in association with Vetrimaaran. When the makers wanted to register the title 'Desiya Nedunchalai', they came to know that it has already been taken away by Dr Srinivasan.
Following this, they approached the 'Power Star' to part with the title. However, the 'Lathika' and 'Ananda Thollai' actor has refused to oblige, saying that he was done with the shooting of 'Desiya Nedunchalai'.
According to Srinivasan, "Sangavi and I have played the lead roles in Desiya Nedunchalai. All works related to the film are over and we are now getting ready to release it. Hence I am unable to give away the title".
