Rajini's 'Vazhakku...' and Kamal's 'OK'

IndiaGlitz [Monday, May 28, 2012]

While Superstar Rajinikanth is a name to reckon with in commercial entertainers, his counterpart Kamal Haasan is known for realistic and touching movies. Interestingly, they reversed their roles recently, by watching films opposite to their favourite genres.

The 'Thalaivar' watched 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9', which is making waves for its realistic portrayal of happenings, at a special screening in Chennai on Saturday evening, even as the Ulaganayagan enjoyed watching 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi', a comedy-commercial entertainer.

Rajini, after watching 'Vazhakku...' appreciated the film's producer Lingusamy and director Balaji Shakthivel for presenting a poignant tale. He also lauded lead actors of the movie, mostly newcomers.

Kamal, who thoroughly enjoyed 'OKOK', gave a pat on the back of producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has played the protagonist. The top star also lauded Santhanam and director Rajesh M.
