One would have thought that after the commercial success of 'Jannat 2' and the critical acclaim in 'Shanghai', Emraan Hashmi would have been busy celebrating.

However none of that has happened and here is the reason why. Apparently, the actor has been keeping quite unwell for some time and meanwhile also shooting for his upcoming films.

This has taken a toll on him due to which parties are a strict no-no.

"Emraan has been going through some severe stomach infection. Plus he is also suffering from flu. Earlier he took it lightly as he left that it was weather playing its tricks.

However when the problem continue to aggravate, he became a little worried. However he couldn't afford to take any rest since he was promoting 'Shanghai' and also simultaneously shooting for 'Ek Thi Daayan'",informs a friend of the actor.

When contacted, Emraan was a tad reluctant to comment on the severity of the illness and its grave effect. Putting up a brave front, he said, "Yes,

I have been unwell though a little better now. This shooting schedule of 'Ek Thi Daayan' is very important. However doctors have advised me not to take much stress and rest as much as possible."

He goes on to quip, "As long as these lovely 'daayans' (Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechlin, Huma Qureshi) do not scare the hell out of me, I guess I would be fine soon." We hopes so as well Emraan.
