Vijay shoots a solo number for 'Thupaki'

Ilayathalapathy Vijay shot a solo number for 'Thupaki' with more than 300 dancers! The song was canned for nearly ten days and is a peppy foot - tapping number and is said to be the introductory song, but we can't be too sure about this.

The track was shot in and around Mumbai and was choreographed by Shobi. It will be set on top of a train that has 13 boggies. The set of the train and the tracks was designed by Art Director Sunil Babu.

It's said that Vijay who is known for his dance moves has given a never seen before sort of performance in this song, which has been captured at its best by ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, 'Thupaki' sees Vijay as an encounter specialist with Kajal Aggarwal as his lady love. Music is by Harris Jayaraj. Comic relief is by Sathyan.

The film is gearing up for an August release.
