Gone are the days when Bala took years to make films. For, he has finished shooting for his forthcoming movie, starring Atharva and Vedhika in the lead, in just 80 days.

"Shooting for the movie is over with the last schedule in Courtallam recently. Post production works will start soon," say sources in the know, adding that the director is poised to release the film soon.

While the buzz is that the film has been named 'Paradesi', there is no official confirmation about it so far. Dhanshika and Uma Riaz are playing key roles in the film, which is set in the backdrop of the lives fishermen.

For the first time, young music composer G V Prakash Kumar has tied up with Bala for this project, which is being produced by PVP Cinema.
