Films on underworld subjects are innumerable on Indian screen. To the list adds one more - 'Dhanu' from Rakshit Films!

'Dhanu' went on the floor at a place near to the murder of a rowdy recently that was shock waves for the people living around that area near Vishwaneedam Post. Director Devu in his debut film says Rowdy gets killed from Rowdy. There is no need for police encounter. Such is the situation he brings in for his film 'Dhanu'. In fact an innocent gets trapped in underworld in this film. Such a situation in life should be avoided he urges in his screenplay.

Devu worked in the camp of directors GK Mudduraj and Ram Murthy as assistant and associate director. Forming a banner Rashit Arts consulting the team of this film has jointly written the dialogue for the film. There are five songs from music director Hemanth Kumar. Songs shooting will be in Chickmagalur, Shimoga and Mandya districts.

Producer Paramashivaiah and Muniraju are partners in printing press business joined together for investment to 'Dhanu' Kannada cinema. Ramesh K is the cameraman for 'Dhanu'.

Santosh of Kannada films 'Abhirami, Ishta, Bangalore Metro and Hoovi' is playing double shade role of innocent and rowdy in 'Dhanu'. Kushi a child actor of four Telugu films and heroine of 'Engagement' Kannada cinema is playing college going student role in 'Dhanu'. I play a silent role and expressing love is the task for me says Kushi who is studying in second year MBA.  Bullet Prakash, Killer Venkatesh, Suresh Mangalore, Muni and others are in the cast.
