Studio Green interested in Viswaroopam

Viswaroopam is quickly becoming one of Tamil cinema's most anticipated releases. With Kamal Haasan keen on bringing in Auro 3D sound into the picture, the movie's trailers have become very popular on social media sites. However, the films distribution rights are yet to be sold with Aascar films, UTV and EROS all going out of the frame during the initial rounds of discussion.

Now, it is reported that Gnanavel Raja from Studio Green is interested in taking Viswaroopam's banner in Tamil Nadu and the producer has been in talks with Kamal Haasan last week. It is even touted that he wants to release the film during Diwali against Vijay's Thupaki and the deal might get signed if he agrees on the price with Kamal. However, in this case, the Hindi version of the film, 'Viswaroop' will face tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. It would be interesting to see how things shape up.
