After months of speculation and gossips flying around in Kollywood, it has finally been reported that the Thupakki audio launch will happen on the 6th of October at the Nehru Indoor stadium, Chennai.

Harris Jeyaraj is the music director of the film and he confirmed the news on the micro-blogging site Twitter. He also indicated that the soundtrack will have 7 tracks overall.

This is exciting news for Vijay fans and is also a possible confirmation that film will indeed roll our during Diwali this year. However, a case regarding the title of the film is still pending at the Madras High Court and might pose a problem for producers if the issue doesn't get resolved.

All eyes are on Thupaki none the less. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and had Kajal Agarwal pairing up with Vijay in the lead. It is likely to be the biggest release for Diwali.
