Mani Ratnam and A.R.Rahman come together once more for Kadal

Mani Ratnam's next film, Kadal is being spoken about much by the media. The latest report is that the film has three songs written by Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu in the album. Meanwhile, the director has acquired two other songs from Vairamuthu's previous works.

Mani Ratnam and A.R.Rahman have continually produced magic in their films right when they started working together in Roja. This time around, one of the tracks will feature a compilation of various Vairamuthu works and another will showcase words from his work 'Thanneer Desam'. The poet has expressed his joy about the news and is excited for the release of the songs.

Kadal will feature newcomers Karthik Gautham and Thulasi Nair in the lead and has cinematography by Rajeev Menon.
