After it was earlier speculated that Alex Pandian will hit screens on the 14th of December, the film has apparently now been pushed to Pongal 2013. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film will come out next January for fans to see on the big screen.

Alex Pandian features Karthi, Anushka and Santhanam in the lead roles and is expected to be a mass entertainer. Directed by Suraaj, the film is produced by Studio Green and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and Karthi is now working on Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani and Rajesh's All in all Azhaguraja.
