After shooting some crucial scenes in Chennai and Gobichettipalayam, Shiva and Vasundhara , the lead pair of 'Sonna Puriyaadhu', had recently been to Bangkok along with the crew members to can song sequences.

"The songs were shot in some of the exotic locales of Bangkok and they have come out well," sources say, adding: "The comedy caper which got a kick start in August this year will hit the screens in December."

Directed by debutant Krishnan Jayaraj, 'Sonna Puriyaadhu' revolves around a young man ('Mirchi' Shiva), who is not willing to enter wedlock. How his friends make him tie the knot is the crux of the story.

While Shiva plays a city youth, Vasundhara (of 'Vattaram' and 'Peranmai') fame plays a 'homely girl' who is funny at times. Shiva's comic timing will be one of the highlights of the movie, sources close to the unit add.
