The Censor Board has cleared 'Kumki' with U certificate, which means the film can be watched by all age groups. Following this, the movie is gearing up for a big release on Dec 14th worldwide.

Directed by Prabhu Solomon, 'Kumki' marks the acting debut of thespian Sivaji Ganesan's grandson Vikram Prabhu. Lakshmi Menon of 'Sundarapandian' fame is the heroine. D Imman has scored the music.

The movie produced by Lingusamy's Tirupathi Brothers will be released by K E Gnanavelraja's Studio Green. "Attempts are being made to release the film in maximum number of theatres," sources said.
