Tension prevailed at Kamarajar Hall at Teynampet in Chennai on Wednesday night, where a special concert was organised to celebrate the birthday of Superstar Rajinikanth.

Two sections of fans clashed with each other, after a group opposed another, when they danced in front of the stage allegedly disrupting others from enjoying the show.

Police entered the scene immediately and brought things under control. A few fans were injured in the clash and they were rushed to a hospital nearby.

The police has issued CSR (community service register) to three Rajini fans.
