Kushboo hits back

Kushboo has said she would not react to a latest controversy surrounding her, after she attended a Telugu film function by wearing a saree which had images of Hindu Gods.

"I am not going to react to the charges made by someone who want to get publicity by using my name. I have better things to do," she said.

Seeking an explanation and apology from the actress-politician, the Hindu Makkal Katchi accused Kushboo of hurting the sentiments of Hindus.

"How can one wear the pictures of Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman in such a way," according to the office-bearers of the party, who have demanded unconditional apology from Kushboo.
