For years now, fans of both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have been yearning to see them back on screen together again. The combination in the past has been a success with films like "Apoorva Ragangal", "Moondru Mudichu" and "16 Vayathinile".
The two stars response to this wish was that them coming together now would be a costly affair and they don't seem to think they are rich enough for that right now!
When Kamal Haasan was asked about a walk down the memory lane by making a sequel of his "Sadma" he said, "There are talks about making a part two of Sadma, where the female protagonist remembers him and comes back, but I don't think I would fit into the hero's role any more. Moreover, a tragedy is best left at that, it is a tragedy because she doesn't return".
He also stated that any remakes of his old hits wouldn't be plausible as he isn't the same hero anymore and won't fit into the characters now.
