This former batsmen of Indian Cricket Team's first appearance was in Santhosh Subramanium followed by a major role in "Patta Patti" which is to be released soon. He also worked for Sundar C's "Madha Gaja Raja".
"I had great fun working in the film along with Vishal and Santhanam. This was the first time I had worked with director Sundar C and I must say he is cool guy who gives his artists, immense scope for improvisation on the sets. I am still planning to start a Cricket Academy but things haven't really fallen in place. I have not watched cricket in the last three years. I don't even keep track of the matches. My friends have been trying to pull be back into the game. But, I have always been like that. Even when I was part of the Indian camp, once I got out, I would switch off from the game and listen to music. Only if Virender Sehwag or Adam Gilchrist were on the crease, I would watch the game."
We wish the former cricketer good luck in both his ventures.
