Actor Vijay is busy shooting for his upcoming film with AL Vijay's "Thalaivaa". The lead pair for him in this movie is Amala Paul. He also celebrated the successful 75th day of his "Thupakki" with AR Murugadoss. Also, the first look posters of "Thalaivaa" was released and gained a lot of popularity for it's simple portrayal of leadership.

At a recent interview after the celebration of "Thupakki", Vijay was asked who his competition was in cinema. Without a pause or contemplating on it, Vijay was quick with his answer. He said that he was his only competition from which one must only think that he implies that he wants to improve his output in each movie. This was a clever response that makes us look forward to greater films from the Ilayathalapathy.
