Bollywood director debuts in Kollywood

Akshay Kumar's "Jakmi Dhil" and Rishi Kapoor and Manisha Koirala starrer "Kanyaadan" are films directed by the Bollywood director Subramaniya Janardan. He has now decided to make a movie in Kollywood.

This director has already assisted in a few Tamil films like "Chikki Mukki" and has now decided to make a debut in Kollywood with his direction. "Kandanam" is the name of this venture. This movie is a cast of all fresh faces. Produced by Radha Ramdari Productions, this film's inauguration was held at J Studios yesterday. Music director Shanker Ganesh was the chief guest fro the event. "Nizhalgal" Ravi is playing a pivotal role in "Kandanam" while Vishal, Karthik Kattak, Sai Rakesh. Kamali and Jida Maria are making a debut in this Tamil and Telugu film in the making. The music director for this film is to be Jay Prakash while the cinematography is handled by PR Sridar.
