After all the global acclaim about director Bala's 'Paradesi' making it to the Festival de Cannes, the much awaited flick will be releasing on the 15th of March. Music director of the movie, GV Prakash, confirmed the news by his tweet "Paradesi confirmed to release on March 15th".

The script, touted to revolve around tea plantation workers of the pre-independence era, has Adharvaa, Dhansilka and Vedhika in the leads, with Chezhiyan cranking the camera for them. The film, based on Harris Daniel's novel, 'Red Tea', managed to get a 'U' certificate at the censor board.
