Happy Birthday Prabhu Deva!

IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, April 03, 2013]

Choreographer, actor, director and a humble, benevolent and enterprising human being. We are talking about the Michael Jackson of India, the elastic man likened to a rubber-band, Prabhu Deva. He entered the film industry in 1988 as an assistant to his father, Sundaram, in choreography. Later, he graduated into an individual choreographer, walking his path towards success. He has won the National Award for choreography, for the films 'Minsara Kanavu' and 'Lakshya'. He debuted as a full-fledged actor in Shankar's 'Kaadhalan' in 1994, until when he had been doing small-time roles in films. After having written a successful career in acting too, he took up another responsibility, and donned the director's hat in 2005 with 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana'; he later directed Ilayathalapathy Vijay in 'Pokkiri' and Salman Khan in 'Wanted'. His recent directorial venture, Akshay Kumar's 'Rowdy Rathore' was a huge success. The legendary man behind all this is currently busy with the Bollywood industry.

The humble man will be blowing 40 candles on his cake today. And we wish him all happiness and success in all his endeavours. Happy birthday, our dear Prabhu Deva!
