Starring Sarvanand, Nithya Menen and Santhanam, 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai' is a story for the modern times, scripted and directed by Cheran. The film has music by GV Prakash. Recently, the team launched their trailer and audio in Prasad Labs Studios, Chennai, where the director spoke at length on the vicissitudes he had to face in shaping up a success story. He expressed discontent that nearly nobody shows interest in acting in his films. "When I set out with 'Autograph', I approached many actors, but all of them turned me down alike. Out of sheer frustration, I acted in it myself.

This led me to act in more movies, until as recently as 'Chennaiyil Oru Naal'. But the urge to direct continued in me, so I came up with 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai', based on a lot of incidents that affected me in my day-to-day life. Once again, many actors turned me down, some did not even spare time to listen to the story. Yet again I was angered, and that is when Sarvanand was willing to give his best and so was Nithya Menen, and we starting rolling out."

The film, Cheran claims, is a family entertainer, in which the heroine is not eyed wrongly by the hero. For comedy element, there is the comedy sensation, Santhanam. In all, Cheran concludes that 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai' is certainly for the youth.
