Dhanush was introduced to the industry through the film 'Thulluvadho Ilamai' in 2002 and then there was no looking back in his career. At just two years old in the industry, he got the hand of the superstar's daughter and the couple have two sons - Linga and Yatra. Now, having set a firm foot in Kollywood, Dhanush is making a debut in Bollywood, along side Sonam Kapoor, in 'Raanjhnaa'. The film is directed by Anand L Rai and also has Abhay Deol to its star cast. The movie is expected to hit the screens on June 24th this year and Dhanush is excited about the release. "I'm both happy and nervous about 'Raanjhnaa' release. This is my debut in Bollywood and I believe I have given my best. In eagerly awaiting audience's response on my performance. I'm planning to juggle Tamil and Hindi movies in the coming days" says the actor. What makes the film all the more special is that the actor has dubbed for himself in the movie! It is noted that in a scene in 'Raanjhnaa', Dhanush takes a bullet between his teeth, quite similar to a performance by Superstar Rajinikanth, but Dhanush says that he has ensured that he did not imitate his father-in-law in any manner. "I have given my individualistic performance and I do not intend mimicking Rajini sir. I will ensure that I do not copy, in the future as well" he added.
At nearly a decade since marriage, Dhanush feels that it is rather easy to impress his father-in-law, the Superstar himself, than trying to earn points with his wife, Aishwarya Dhanush. "It is easy to win the heart of Superstar. Be a good human being, and he will like you. I am humbled that he likes my projects so far. But impressing a woman is always a difficult task, especially given my looks. It is very hard to impress my wife, I am still learning" concludes the actor comically.
