The misnomer was that Superstar Rajinikanth will fight sharks in his much awaited 'Kochadaiyaan', the truth is out that it is not so. Though the truth remains that one of the most surprising highlights of the movie, is a fight right in the middle of the ocean, there will not be sharks in it. Instead, there will be dolphins and lots of them.

Speaking on the same, director Soundarya Rajinikanth said "The mid-sea fight will have the Superstar fighting a lot of dolphins, and will include a fleet of ships and people too. Apart from the mid sea adventure, the king will also fight other animals in the course of the movie." With regard to the release date of the movie, she said "We are looking to fix a date for release and work in accordance with that. We will be declaring a date for audio release soon, and people are going to fall in love with the tunes of AR Rahman, who has been a real pillar of support through the flow of work on 'Kochadaiyaan'. There will be official announcements on the dates, soon."
