The comic thriller 'Mariyadha Ramanna' was a run away hit in Tollywood, and it is already well known that Santhanam will be doing the lead role in the movie's Tamil remake, titled 'Mariyadhai Raman'. Now the latest confirmation in the crew is young composer Anirudh who will be scoring music for this upcoming Santhanam flick.

It was earlier buzzed that Sivakarthikeyan may replace Santhanam in the movie, but the final news is that Santhanam is not dropping out of the project by any means. Other cast and crew information will be revealed soon. The original, 'Mariyadha Ramanna' was directed by Rajamouli of 'Eega' and 'Naan Ee' fame. In Tamil, 'Mariyadhai Raman' is directed by Srinath of 'Muthirai' fame. It is worth mentioning that the Telugu flick was already remade into Hindi, as 'Son of Sardar' which grossed high profits.
