Indian Cinema is celebrating 100 years of entertainment and South Indian cinema was never short of abundance of entertainment over the years. To celebrate this joy, Kalyan of SIFCC has said in a press conference recently that a grandiose event featuring all four states of the south will be hosted from September 21-24 at Nehru Stadium in Namma Chennai, which will also showcase 100 years of excellence in cinematic service.
All four states will be showcasing the brilliance of cinema from the respective states followed by an opulent dinner on the 23rd which will be thronged by guests and celebrities. To make this even bigger, on 24th President Pranab Mukherjee along with all four CM's will be presiding over this event.
Following the event, some of yesteryears best cinema will be presented, and considering this to be a huge event, the advance notice will ease the producers of many other films to plan accordingly as the week will definitely halt shooting.
Sarath Kumar and Radha Ravi (Actors council), SAC (Producers' Council), Anadha Suresh (Film Chamber), and R.K. Selvamani (Directors' elite group), Ameer (FEFSI), Ravi Kottarakara (Malayalam), Kattrakatta Prasad , Editor Mohan, and many other dignitaries were present at the press meet which was held in the city.
