Be it 'Nenjukulla' or 'Zariya', MTV Coke Studio has more or less become the platform to launch super hit songs of AR Rahman, in beautiful fusion. Coming next in that line, tonight, AR Rahman is to launch two of his compositions at the Coke Studio. From the pages of 'Rasayana Rojakkal', the album that is female centric and based on women upliftment, a couple of tracks are making their way to the show tonight. One of the tracks is titled 'Naan Yen Piranthen' and the other is 'Ennile Maga Oliyo'. The album has been in the making for quite some time now, and it is worth mentioning that the composer himself had suggested and modified the visual settings of the songs, while shooting.
'Naan Yen Piranthen' is penned down by the late legend Vaali and Rahman, Reihana and Ishrad have rendered the song in their voices. Based on the painful discrimination that a poor, dark, backward, young Indian girl faces, the song is to feature in a short film. 'Ennile Maga Oliyo' is rendered by Reihana and Ishrad and is based on the unmatched feeling of a woman who has just freed herself from the clutches of social stereotypes. This track was written by Kutti Revathi. So watch out for the big show tonight on MTV Coke Studio tonight!
