The shuttling has been going on for a long time now, until Dhanush broke the barrier by acting in Bollywood and SRK by speaking Tamil. We are talking about Bollywood and Kollywood that make the pillars of Indian cinema. And now comes yet another import from Bollywood, straight on to the sets of director Gokul's 'Valeba Raja'. Nushrat Bharucha has acted in movies like 'Pyar Ka Punchnama', 'Love, Sex Aur Dhoka' and 'Akaash Vani' in B-town.
As Gokul's project needed one more heroine, he had initially approached Isha Talwar of 'Thillu Mullu' fame; however Nushrat seems to have finally scored higher and bagged the offer. The team of young cast is currently shooting in Pondicherry, and are having a great-is-an-understatement time. The cast has Sethu, Vishakha and Santhanam, apart from Nushrat. Who is the heroine? "There is no particular first lead or second lead in the film. Everyone in the cast has equal weightage. Being a young team, we are having a wonderful time shooting and spending time in Pondicherry. As it is, the film is a fun filled and light hearted, and we are having a blast working on it" beams the director. Slow and steady, the demarcation of one particular cine town from another is fading, with all the shunting and exchange. How do you perceive such changes?
