Gearing up for their first schedule abroad, the 'Jilla' team is set out to visit Bulgaria. After wrapping up the current schedule in Hyderabad, the team will leave to the foreign land to shoot a couple of songs. Speaking to the director revealed that the team has shortlisted a handful of beautiful places in Bulgaria. Speaking on the trip, Nesan said "We have chosen almost a dozen locations in Bulgaria but are yet to decide where exactly we will be rolling the camera.

The reason we chose Bulgaria is because we wanted to shoot in a place that is not much explored yet by filmmakers, and we found the country an exotic destination." Essaying their dream roles in khakhi in the family-based story, Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead, along with Mohanlal as the godfather, 'Jilla' team will predominantly shoot in Chennai and are looking forward to the shooting of their climax, for which a huge wooden set has been erected in Hyderabad.
