It is the season of raking controversies in the tinsel town and the latest to be battered in false feed is director Pandiraj. The director shot to fame through his debut, 'Pasanga', post which he initiated his production venture, Pasanga Productions. After successive hits as director as well as producer, Pandiraj has now created an irreplaceable respectable impression about himself in Kollywood.
However, it seems like some people are not quite content with Pandiraj's success and are putting him in trouble, by unwarranted usage of his name. In his announcement to the media, Pandiraj said "I came across some incidents were people were allegedly cheated by some corrupt individuals, who falsely promised them of a chance to act in my films; I notice that wannabe child artistes are prime targets. Usually, the aspirants are approached by a phone call, claiming that it is a close associate of mine, calling in from my office; then the criminals claim that it is mandatory for a person to be registered in the Nadigar Sangam, and request money for the registration process. I hear that some have been cheated of as much as forty nine thousand rupees. Hereby, I request everyone to not believe any such misleading calls. It is true that I encourage new talents in each of my film. When I look for talent, I invite them over to present their talent at my office, and do not approach anybody by phone calls alone." Taking his dissatisfaction over the issue further, director-producer Pandiraj has filed a complaint against the alleged criminals.
