Oblivious to the hoopla he has created thru his blockbuster hits 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Attarintiki Daredi', Pawan Kalyan the Power Star is quietly gearing up for his next 'Gabbar Singh 2', a sequel to 'Gabbar Singh', the 'Dabangg' remake that has brought him back to form last year. The production is learnt to be hitting the floors in December and is right now in a rigorous script development exercise, under the focused eye of the star himself.

There were rumors that the director Sampath Nandi has been replaced by Trivikram Srinivas following the success of 'Attarintiki Daredi' but there hasn't been any news from the production house confirming or denying the development. As of now, Sampath Nandi who delivered 'Rachcha' for Ram Charan is on board as the director and is burning calories in writing.

The movie is to be produced by Sarath Marar for Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. Details of the female lead, other cast and crew are yet to be announced.
