Sailing high in the glory of offers and accolades from Kollywood and Bollywood alike, Dhanush has risen up to be one of the most trusted actors of all times. Recently, he was approached by foreign filmmakers with offers to act in their projects, but Dhanush refused them all. Recounting his decision, Dhanush says "I am both surprised and shocked that I got offers from abroad. I got offers to act in Hollywood, English and Spanish projects; they even sent me the entire script so that I can go through the story and sign the dotted line with him. But I already had many commitments here, so I turned them all down" says the humble actor, who is right now in the news for three movies - 'Velai Illa Pattathari', 'Anegan' and director Vetrimaaran's yet-to-be titled project.

Meanwhile, what is brewing between Dhanush and composer Anirudh? "It is no big secret that Anirudh is flocked with offers to act. But it is me who has held him back to composing the beautiful music that he makes. Right now, I feel he has a great future in composing" says Dhanush, appreciatively of Anirudh. On the other hand, ask the actor what he likes, and he says "If I were to become a director, I will make my movie starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Siva Karthikeyan and Anirudh" and grins broadly!
