Can anyone forget Director C.V.Sridhar, the  trendsetting Director of Tamil films of 1960's 70's and  80's. He was active even up to early 90's and the one who introduced Chiyan Vikram as a lead hero in his film titled Thanthuvitten Ennai. Unfourtunately that happened to be the last film of the Director who gave some of the landmark films of Tamil cinema like Nenjil Or Alayam, Kadhalikka Neramillai, Ilamai Oonjaladugiradhu etc. He was paralyzed and died of a heart attack in 2008 when he was 76.

Now one of his super hit films Nenjam Marappadhillai is going to get a new leash of life. The film, one of the earliest to touch the mythical concept of previous births is going to be remade in Tamil. Director Selvaraghavan who is busy in post-production work for his next mega budget fantasy film Irandam Ulagam has acquired the remake rights of this 1963 classic. He will reportedly start working on the script to make it suitable to the present day audience. Will this film again come under the fantasy genre since its based on a mythical concept ?

To know this, Fans will have to wait for the details from the Director's stable. We will keep you posted as usual
