'Ponnar-Sankar’ a movie based on a novel written by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, was launched by him on July 12 in Valluvar Kootam. The film is directed by actor Thyagarajan and the lead role of the movie is done by his son Prashanth. Actress Manorama and Union Minister of State D. Nepolean, would also star in the film.
