It's been a year since Prashanth had a release, while director R K Selvamani has been out of action for almost a half-a-dozen year.
So when the two combine, the effort has to be special to re-establish themselves.
After a mega hit in Sembaruthy, the duo is back for Pulan Visaranai Part II.
Speaking to media persons in Chennai on Thursday, Selvamani said, ' I am back with Pulan Visaranai Part II. It is packed with action the way. An extension of my mega hit - Pulan Visarani, the sequel will feature Prashanth in the lead role'.
Prashanth plays a tough cop in the movie who is behind the anti-socials. The movie would have three new heroines with a debutant playing the baddie.
Being produced by Ibrahim Rowther, the entire movie unfolds in New Delhi. On his part, Prashanth said, 'I share a good rapport with Selvamani. We know each other well and read the minds of each other. Pulan Visaranai Part II has shaped up well and will make a big impact at the box office'.
Selvamani, who is tight-lipped on the movie's story, said Pulan Visaranai Part II would grace theatres by the last week of September. |
