All eyes were on Vikram at the audio launch of Bharath starrer Emttan Mahan. The movie being directed by Metti Oli fame Thirumurugan was launched in Chennai on Friday. Set to tunes by Vidyasagar, there are six songs in the movie.
Receiving the first copy of the audio cassette, Vikram heaped praises on producer T G Thyagarajan for introducing fresh talents in the industry.
He recalled that he got an opportunity through Nila Pennae to act in Thygarajan's Sathyajothy Films, which unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances could not materialize.
He expressed his confidence that Emttan Magan would click at the box office.
On his part, the director thanked the producer for giving him an opportunity. He said, 'All the characters have given their heart-out and Nasser and Bharath as father and son have performed well'.
Bharath, said, 'It was different film which provided him more scope to perform. Thirumurugan's stint with small screen had polished his directorial skills well'.
Vidyasagar expressed the hope that one of the songs set to tunes without any musical instruments accompanying it would top the audio charts'.
Earlier Tamil Film Producer Council president Rama Narayanan released the audio cassette. The CD was released by director S A Chandrasekharan and received by actress Trisha. |
