AVM Productions chose to celebrate the success of their movie Tirupathi in a grand manner on Monday. The movie starring Ajith and Sada in the lead roles was the famed production house's 167th venture in their diamond jubilee year.

Producer AVM Saravanan presented Ajith, Perarasu and the rest of the cast and crew with shields.

Presiding over the function was Tamil Film Producer Council president Rama Narayanan.

Ajith, taking a break from the shooting of his Aalwar, attended the function along with his wife. Dressed in formals, Ajith was in all joy throughout the evening. He looked as ever very handsome.

Among others who received the trophy included actor-director R Sundararajan, actress Mallika, Livingston, music-composer Bharadwaj, cinematographer Saravanan and stunt master Thalapathy Dinesh.

The theatre owners and the distributors were also presented with shields.

Finally, AVM Saravanan thanked the whole cast and crew of Thirupathi for making the movie a huge success.
