Karan's Thee Nagar went to floors at Nandanam Arts College in Chennai at a grand function held on Saturday.

After a good showing in Kokki as hero, Karan is going steady in Kollywood. Thee Nagar features Udhayatara opposite him.

Udhayatara is currently acting in her Kannum Kannum with Prasanna. Swarnamalya, Mahanadhi Shankar, Ilavarasu and Fatima Babu are also in the cast.

Chelladurai handles the camera. 'Four Students' fame Jaasie Gift is composing music for this movie. Thirumalai is directing this movie besides handling story, screenplay and dialogues.

At the muhurat on Saturday, Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan took part. A few scenes involving Karan and Udhayatara were shot.

It is a story of a youth, who passes out from college, says Thirumalai.
