“After a long break, I had my Pokiri released for this Pongal. It has been witnessing unprecedented crowds and I am happy at the audience response”, says Vijay.

Addressing media persons in Chennai on Sunday, Vijay, said, “All credit should go to the entire team which slogged for the movie's success. In spite of criticism that it had gory violence, women are coming in large numbers to watch the film”.

On his forthcoming film Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Vijay said, “It is a humorous entertainer. Unlike other films, the hero itself is responsible for him getting into troubles. How he comes out of all the problems forms the crux of the movie.”

The shooting for Azhagiya Tamil Magan has commenced and is touted for a release this August.
