Ashwin Shekher, son of actor-turned-politician S Ve Shekher, is starring in  a movie titled Vegam. The movie launched today at a grand function in Chennai in which who's who of Tamil film industry including director K Balachander, Producer council president Rama Narayanan, KRG, AVM Saravanan and actor Prabhu took part”.

Ashwin, who aspires to establish himself as an action hero, will be acting opposite Telugu actress Archana.

The movie would be directed by Udhayashankar. The movie brings together Prabhu and Kushboo after a long gap.
