'Rajni' Book On Style King

Rising to stardom from an ordinary bus conductor (10A Majestic to Srinagar in Bangalore) to the position of key person of South Indian cinema superstar of Tamil films Rajnikanth book in four south Indian languages – Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam was released in a crowded SJRC auditorium in Bangalore on Sunday morning. The Kannada original is titled as 'Rajni' is translated in to Tamil version as 'Rajniyam Marupakkam' by Sethunathan, in Telugu it is 'Rajni, Vishstam, Vismayam and Vichitram by K.Venkateshwarulu and in Malayalam it is 'Rajni Oru Mukam' by Baby Maniat. Cinema Sahitya Prakashana proprietor V.Ravichandra has published the four languages book on Rajnikanth. This is perhaps for the first time in the history of Indian cinema a book on superstar in four languages is released simultaneously on the same dais.

The author of original Kannada version 'Rajni' as seen by his friends and well wishers is Mr Devshetty Mahesh a reputed film journalist from the prestigious daily 'Vijaya Karnataka'. He heads the Friday supplement 'Cine Vijaya' where in he wrote Rajnikanth from the point of view of his friends in a 28 series column 'Rajni'. The book released is a compilation of all the 28 articles that explains the magnanimity, simplicity, workaholic nature, urge to make it good, humanity, struggle etc of Rajanikanth.

Rajnikanth's close friend Raj Bahaddur who was driver when Rajnikanth as Shivaji Rao Gaikwad was conductor recalled the roaming of city roads in Bangalore of his friend in disguise, traveling in autorikshaw, walking down Chamrajpet to Gavi Gangadeshwara temple in Hanumanthnagara. Taken aback by this announcement the editor of Vijaya Karnataka Vishveswara Bhat sitting on the dais checked with Raj Bahaddur to find out whether Rajnikanth is in disguise at this function. Raj Bahaddur replied that he is at the Himalayas as of now and sent the good wishes for the writer of this book.
