A cycle rally was organized to create awareness on AIDS. The awareness rally was taken out also to promote P Vasu's forthcoming film Thottal Poo Malaraum.

The film is a launch pad for Sakthi, P Vasu's son. Ten groups of cyclists carried out the rally in different parts of the city. Sakthi, Gowri Munjal, Kushboo, Sibiraj, Vadivelu among others graced the occasion.

On the novel idea to promote his son, Vasu said, "an established actor needs no promotion. Since my son is stepping into the competitive industry, I thought I should do something different".

Phase II of the promo, scheduled for Monday through Friday, involves creating awareness in key areas. Volunteers will be stationed in key signals displaying drive safely boards with the title of the movie splashed on the display boards.
