The audio of Dhanush starrer Polladhavan was launched amidst fanfare in Chennai on Friday.

Starring Dhanush and Divya in lead roles, the movie is directed by Vettri Maran, a former associate of director Balu Mahendra.

Big names like Balu Mahendra, Kasthoori Raja, Jayam Ravi, Vishal, and G V Prakash among others gathered for the audio launch.

Speaking on the occasion, Balu Mahendra said, “Vettri Maran is a talented director to emerge from my team. His organizing skills deserve a special mention. A great talent, Vettri Maran is sure to go places”.

Heaping laurels on Dhanush, he said, “The young actor has tremendous potential and is one of the finest stars who can emote well on the screen”.

Vishal, Jayam Ravi, Anbalaya Prabhakaran among others hoped that Polladhavan will make it big at the box office.

“The album has five songs and they are sure to rock the audio-lovers”, said Dhanush.
