“I have undergone severe pain to get my character right in ‘Kattradhu Thamizh’ donning a different makeup, says Jeeva.

Addressing media persons in Chennai on Monday, Jeeva, said, “The movie directed by debutant Ram is releasing this weekend. It is a movie that dwells on the travails of a youth, who study Tamil. I appear in three different getups for the movie and it was no easy performing before the screen for the movie”.

The movie carries a lofty theme but laced with right commercial elements, Jeeva says and adds, “We are confident that it would strike chord with the masses”.

“Yuvanshankar's music would be a major highlight”, he says and adds, “My heroine debutant Anjali has performed really well”.

Karunaas, who plays a prominent role in the movie, was also present on the occasion.

Heaping laurels on Jeeva's performance, he said, “I admire Jeeva for his dedication and sincerity. I have acquired the distribution rights for the movie in Tamilnadu and the movie would be released with over 80 prints this weekend'.
