Vinay, the model-turned-actor, shot to fame with 'Unnale Unnale'. Playing a cool dude, he won the admiration of youngsters.

The actor has commenced shooting for his next 'Jeyam Kondaan' now. Directed by debutant R Kannan, a former assistant of Mani Ratnam. The film features Bhavana and Lekha Washington, with Daniel Balaji likely to play the villain.

The film is produced by Sathya Jyothi Thyagarajan. It was launched with great fanfare on Wednesday at AVM Studios, Chennai.

Taking to press persons, Kannan, “It will be a romantic entertainer, with foot tapping melodies by Vidyasagar. Balasubramaniyan cranks the camera”.

Delighted at his role, Vinay says, “I was impressed with the storyline. Kannan is a bundle of talent. I am confident that 'Jeyam Kondaan' will rock”.
