Though 'Onbathu Ropai Nottu' has been receiving critical acclaim from various quarters, the movie is not creating waves at box office. The movie has now found a new partner in Pyramid Saimira International. The film distribution company has planned to promote the film in a novel way.

Swaminathan, MD of Pyramid Saimira International announced this decision in a press meet held today (Dec 4) at Hotel GRT Grants, in Chennai. He said was moved by the film and decided to help promoting it. “Such films must be promoted and made success”, he observed.

The company, according to Swaminathan, has planned to screen 100 free shows of the film on coming Sunday. The people can view the film without paying the money for the tickets. After seeing the movie, however, they can contribute some amount if they are impressed.

The money collected through these special shows will straight away go to the producers, Swaminathan informed the media. This will be a fitting tribute to the producer, who came forward to make such a poignant movie, he remarked.

Earlier, Pyramid Natarajan gave a brief speech about the film. The cast and crew of the film, including director Thankar Bachan, actors Sathyaraj, Archana, Nasser, and Rohini were among those who were present in the press meet.

Pyramid Saimira deserves to be applauded for initiating such a novel and worthwhile attempt to promote a good film.
