Director Ameer was felicitated on May 2, by the Cinema Press Club for film 'Paruthi Veeran' got a “special mention” at recently held Berlin Film Festival.

Director Bharathiraja honored Ameer and presented the memorial gift.

On Friday, Cinema Press Club organized a felicitation function; in this function various celebrities from Kollywood were participated. Among the gathering, Film Chamber president KRG, Cinematographer director Balu Mahendra, Editor Mohan, directors Agathiyan, Seeman, Cheran, Lingusamy Keyar, Actors Sarath Kumar and Radha Ravi, were there.
