'I am not bothered or worried about the false news certain people are spreading about me', says Vishal.
The slim and trim Vishal, who is eagerly awaiting the release of his next venture 'Sathyam' said, "There are reports in certain sections of the media about me in the recent past. I am not worried or bothered about them. I am concentrating on my career and keen to establish my own path".
Speaking about 'Sathyam', he said, "It is my seventh film. The story was narrated to me by Rajasekhar after I completed 'Chellamae'. However I chose to wait and do the film at an appropriate time.'
The movie is not a usual cop story. It is both brainy and brawny. A team of good technicians including Harris Jayaraj (music), Thotta Tharani (sets), Anthony (editing) and R D Rajasekar (cinematography) have come together for 'Sathyam'. It would be released on the 14th of August as 'Sathyam' in Tamil and 'Salute' in Telugu. It's my first bi-lingual movie'.
'Due credit should be given to Nayantara. She performed her role with ease and the song "Chellamae Chellamae" features Nayantara at her glamorous best. It was shot with a Rs 1.75 cr budget. She deserves a pat', Vishal said and added, 'I underwent rigorous exercises and strict diet to obtain a six pack ab'.
Stating that he would commence his directorial venture very soon, he added, 'plans are on to do dual roles in the future. I have listened to the script in this regard'.
Harris Jayaraj is doing the re-recording in a innovative way. A symphony like orchestra is working round-the-clock for this, he adds.
Rajasekhar also spoke on the occasion.
