Despite superstar Rajinikanth’s willingness to give back 7 Crores after ‘Kuselan’ has proved to be a damp squib at the box office, the Exhibitor’s Association is adamant that they want more money as compensation for the loss.
The reason they cite is that the film was promoted as an out and out Rajinikanth starrer but then turned out otherwise. Rajinikanth does nothing more than a cameo and Pasupathy is the protagonist of the film. Keeping in mind the Rajini factor, the exhibitors paid out exorbitant amounts to acquire the rights. That is the reason they want money back as compensation.
