'Kanchivaram' directed by Priyadarshan has made it for the first time to the International Film Festival of India that is to be held in Goa. Protagonist of the movie, Prakash Raj met the press to share this joyous news and elaborated the media about the movie that received rave reviews when it was screened in other film festivals.

Starring Shreya Reddy opposite Prakash Raj, musical score for 'Kanchivaram' has been composed by MG Sreekumar and cinematography by Thiru. Sets had been erected by Sabu Cyril. The movie is to be released for the general public in December.
