The demise of Nagesh has sent shock waves across the film industry. Prominent personalities who rushed to the late actor’s residence upon hearing the sad news include Vaali, Kamal Haasan, Manorama, Rajinikanth, Cho, S. Ve. Sekhar.

Emotional scenes were witnesses with many people from filmdom breaking into tears.
